Julian Waits, President and CEOMr. Waits brings a diverse history of success in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing to Brabeion. Prior to founding Brabeion, Mr. Waits served as Vice President of Business Development at e-Security, the leading provider of Security Event Management. During his tenure at e-Security Mr. Waits was responsible for developing key strategic relationships, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Hewlett Packard. Mr. Waits joined e-Security after three years at BNX Systems, a leader in controlled access management software based in Vienna, Virginia. While at BNX, Mr. Waits held several key executive positions including Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Sales. Among his many achievements at BNX, Mr. Waits led a team responsible for closing the largest transaction in company history, a multimillion-dollar agreement with a leading financial institution. Before joining Brabeion, Mr. Waits spent six years at BMC Software in Houston, Texas. As Director of Business and Corporate Development, Mr. Waits was responsible for several key acquisitions and dozens of OEM relationships and strategic partnerships. Prior to BMC, Mr. Waits worked at Banyan Systems and Compaq Computer in engineering roles. Mr. Waits attended Loyola University and Xavier University.

Steve Schlarman, Chief Compliance Strategist, CISSP, CISMMr. Schlarman brings deep compliance, security and audit expertise to Brabeion Software. Prior to joining Brabeion, Steve was a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory Practice focusing exclusively on information security consulting and auditing. During his 8+ years at PwC, he led a wide range of security and compliance engagements including security strategy, security policy development, audits, penetration studies, Sarbanes-Oxley preparation and computer crime investigation. In 1998, he became the lead developer of PwC’s original Enterprise Security Architecture System (ESAS) and led product management until Brabeion acquired ESAS in 2005. Steve served as PricewaterhouseCoopers’ global Subject Matter Expert on Enterprise Security Architecture and Security Policy. He has published many articles on key topics in security, and was a primary developer of PricewaterhouseCoopers' methodologies on Enterprise Security Architecture and security policy development. Prior to PwC, Mr. Schlarman had operational roles in information systems at the Missouri State Highway Patrol and A.G. Edwards. He has worked in application development and support, computer operations, network administration and production control. Mr. Schlarman received a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He is a member of ISACA and ISSA and holds both the CISSP and CISM certifications.

Adrian Muniz, Chief Financial OfficerAdrian Muniz is responsible for the overall strategic financial planning and operations management at Brabeion. Prior to Brabeion, Mr. Muniz served as Chief Financial Officer for e-Security, where he directed all financial, operations, human resources, legal and IT activities positioning the company for its successful sale to Novell in April 2006 for nearly seven times annual revenues. In the last 15 years, Mr. Muniz has developed a solid track record of making significant contributions to the companies he's served. In addition to his contributions to e-Security, Mr. Muniz also held positions at BNX Systems, where he closed several rounds of financing and built the accounting/finance, HR, IT and administration departments during the company's start-up phase. He gained international experience at ICARUS Corporation, where he was responsible for finance and operations for US, Europe and Asia. Mr. Muniz received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Catholic University of P.R. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Surajit Chatterjee, CTO and VP of EngineeringMr. Chatterjee brings 20 years of development and software architecture leadership to Brabeion. Before joining Brabeion, Mr. Chatterjee was responsible for the creation, design, and implementation of BNX Authenticated Sign-On, a state-of-the-art controlled access management software for Vienna, Virginia based BNX Systems. Prior to his six years at BNX, Mr. Chatterjee was responsible for building AutoTreev, a workflow product from the Herndon, Virginia based Treev Inc. Mr. Chatterjee also has worked as a consultant for IBM, the Center for Development of Telematics in India, and Bharat Electronics. His educational background includes a Masters in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communications from the Institute of Technology, B.H.U. India.

Yo Delmar, Chief Marketing OfficerMs. Delmar brings a track record of success over 30 years in the Information Technology industry in roles ranging from consultant to executive and CEO in systems integration, consulting and product companies. Prior to joining Brabeion, Yo was responsible for the creation of risk management practices at several security system integration firms, defining market positioning, risk assessment offerings and methodologies. Yo was vice-president responsible for the business development and marketing programs at network risk management leader Skybox Security, where she launched the company and developed its channel programs. Prior to that, Yo held CEO positions at both product and system integration firms. Prior to this, at SHL Systemhouse, a $2b systems integrator, as Vice-President of Technology Strategy, Yo was responsible for six global business units, including alliances, enterprise-wide architecture strategies, methodologies and two product groups. She has taught as an adjunct professor on the Strategic Use of Technology in M.B.A. programs at several Canadian Universities. She has been responsible for the development of methodologies for strategic planning, enterprise wide architecture strategies and systems integration life cycles. Over the past few years Yo has focused on IT Governance and Security Risk Management Programs and solutions for enterprise clients, with an emphasis on compliance, application, data and network risk and remediation strategies. She is a member of both ISACA and ISSA, and holds both Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designations. Yo has spoken at industry events, such as the OCEG IT Forum.

Dan Carayiannis, Sr. VP of Worldwide SalesMr. Carayiannis brings more than 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, professional services and executive leadership to Brabeion. As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Mr. Carayiannis is responsible for global sales and sales support for Brabeion. Prior to Brabeion, Mr. Carayiannis was the Vice President of Sales for Intelli7, an enterprise focused information security, network detection and enforcement monitoring company where he successfully led their sales, marketing and customer support efforts. Prior to joining Intelli7, Mr. Carayiannis was the President of Susquehanna Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Partner. Mr. Carayiannis served as the Vice President of Sales for Intellitactics, a market leading supplier of Security Information Management software, where he successfully organized and managed the Sales and Sales Support organizations. Mr. Carayiannis also served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Landmark Systems and has held executive positions at SPOT Image, Falcon Microsystems, and Polaroid Corporation’s electronic imaging division. Mr. Carayiannis holds a Bachelors Degree from James Madison University, an MBA from Marymount University, and completed the Duke University Executive Development Program. Mr. Carayiannis also serves on a number of advisory boards.
